Do you know what we see is what we create? The path ahead is the road we wish to walk on and this is the path we pave in our life. The clearer the path, the faster we move. But confusions, illusions, fears and lust create fog and we cannot See. These are the obstacles in our lives. With illusions we start living in a dream world where we create unending ambitions that give us joy.. we fantasize of dreams that cannot be achieved.. Dreaming makes us lose sense of reality and we are entangled in a web. When we awaken, it could be very late. Confusions and fear of instability makes us lethargic and lose ability to stand on our feet and face challenges. Fear makes us want to run away and procrastinate. We need to learn lessons of removing confusions, illusions, fears and lust by developing the ability to see through the fog and get grounded in reality. Karma is depicted through the mouse of Lord Ganesha, a creature that lurks in the dark, eating and nibbling away anything and everything it sets eyes on irrespective of actual hunger and that reproduces in large numbers. Ganesha the ruler of planet Ketu rides over it, controlling it and grounding us to our actual needs which are actually taken care of by mother Earth. A Ladoo is the sweet taste of fulfilled Karma. Ganesha is the ruler of the Muladhara chakra where our Karma is stored. He helps us fulfil our karma which is the storehouse of our unfulfilled desires, in partnership with Mahalaxmi. But if we go overboard and continue creating more and more karma, he grounds us. On this occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi, let us all pray to Lord Ganesha to remove malefic of Ketu that seeks to draw us into an illusionary world and create unbridled karma that take us away from our true path and awaken Riddhi, Buddhi and Siddhi within us.
