Do you live on the Woy Woy Peninsula? Got a couple of hours a week to spare? The Spirit of the Peninsula Festival needs more people on its organising committee. To be held on 30 November 2014 in the grounds of the Umina Public School, the goal of the festival is to embrace and enhance community spirit on the Peninsula as well as raise funds for technology upgrades and playground beautification at the school. The festival will include food stands, market stalls, amusement rides, music, dancing and entertainment, face painting, crafts and other kids activities, community groups, competitions and student involvement.
