Do you need your WTR If you drive a special-type vehicle that isnt a forklift on the road, you MUST have a W, T or R endorsement on your driver licence. You MUST hold a minimum full New Zealand class 1 driver W,T,R Endorsements can be sat individually if required Wheels Endorsement Vehicles that run on wheels, that arent forklifts, rollers, passenger vehicles, tractors, fire engines, trade vehicles or vehicle recovery service vehicles. A Wheels (W) endorsement is required to operate special-type vehicles that run on wheels. Tracks Endorsement Vehicles that run on self-laying tracks A Tracks (T) endorsement is required to operate special-type vehicles that runs solely on tracks. Rollers Endorsement Vehicles that run on rollers A Rollers (R) endorsement is required to operate special-type vehicles that run on rollers.
