Do you really believe Education City is about creating jobs and improving the quality of education for the Bhutanese youth? Or do you understand that it is just another case of fronting for Jigmi Y Thinley’s friends and relatives? -------------------------------- Do you really believe Yeshey Zimba’s recommendation to sell the Trowa Theatre land to Riverview Kinley Wangchuk was because that was the best solution? Or do you understand it as just another way to sell off prime government land at cheap government rates to a staunch party supporter? -------------------------------- Do you really believe that the sudden hiking of tax rates for imported beer and the eventual banning of such imports was for the nation’s health? Or do you understand it as a part of a larger plan to support and create a monopoly for Tashi Breweries, the only Bhutanese company authorised to produce beer in Bhutan, which also happens to be owned by the Tashi Group, one of the largest cash supporters of the DPT party? ---------------------------------- Do you really believe that Riverview Kinley Wangchuk just happened to get a stone quarry license near the Education City site by chance? Or do you understand that he already knew the plans of Education City and had (reportedly) been given assurances by the Infinity Group that all their stones would be sourced from this quarry? ---------------------------------- Do you really believe the site of the Baeyul Dewaling or Gross National Happiness (GNH) Center at Bumthang’s sacred Chhoekhar valley was chosen because of its historic significance? Or because there happened to be some vacant land beside this site that could be easily grabbed at cheap rates (by who else but the JYT) and then developed using the Baeyul Dewaling as the justification? --------------------------------- Do you really believe that the 15 Prados and 1 Landcruiser that the departing DPT cabinet took off with was a soilra from His Majesty? Or was it requested by the Prime Minister to satisfy their unsatisfiable and insatiable desire for more and more freebies at the country’s cost? ---------------------------------- Was there real equity and justice in the allotment of banking licenses when that sector was opened? Or was it just opened up to give opportunities to their biggest financial supporters Riverview family and Tashi Group? ----------------------------------- If you refuse to believe the rubbish they put out there, and if you understand the reality of the widespread corruption that’s been going on under the DPT government, then you know you MUST vote for change! Vote for PDP!! (from Bhutantimes)
