Do you remember “Sisyphus” of Greek mythology? He revealed - TopicsExpress

Do you remember “Sisyphus” of Greek mythology? He revealed Zeus’s rape of Aegina to her father, and as his punishment, Zeus doomed him for all of eternity to roll a huge stone up a hill, only to have it roll down again each time he tried. Perfectionist, thy name is Sisyphus! Don’t you wish you could just leave the stupid stone at the bottom of the hill and walk away? Are you tired to trying and trying and trying and trying. . . yet never getting much better? You’ll find great relief and freedom in “giving up!” By the way, you greatly diminish your freedom when you “pretend” to others that you are accomplishing perfection. It is called “hypocrisy,” and it is quite injurious to your freedom. Steve Brown "A Scandalous Freedom"
