Do you remember when Nancy Pelosi said Congress had to pass Obamacare in order to find out what was in the bill? Years later we are continuing to learn what was in the bill - and the results are alarming. Recent studies suggest that President Obama is being less than forthcoming regarding enrollment numbers, with one study finding that only 3.9 million people signed up for insurance policies through state and federal exchanges - a far cry from the 7.1 million figure trumpeted by President Obama. I am focused on patient-centered reforms that will actually drive down the cost of healthcare and put the individual in charge of their own well-being. That is why I introduced H.R. 4106, the Saving Lives, Saving Costs Act. This legislation will decrease the cost of healthcare and improve quality.
