Do you so and so take this woman so and so to be thy loving ( loved) wife? Pro 31:10 An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than money. Pro 31:29 Many daughters have done worthily, But thou excellest them all. Pro 31:30 Grace is deceitful, and beauty is vain; But a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Pro 27:15 A nagging wife is like water going drip-drip-drip on a rainy day. Pro 27:16 How can you keep her quiet? Have you ever tried to stop the wind or ever tried to hold a handful of oil? What an anthithesis: Most of us usually read the latter verses and get a bit of a laugh out of them. But lets take a closer look here. A nagging wife? Ughhhh dont wanna be there or go there. Aint hearen that. But could it be the problem is not the nagging wife. Perhaps the emphasis is not meant to be on her? But on the reason or PERSON as to why she is such a nag? Theres usually a reason for complaining. Maybe if we as MEN were more attentive, more kind, more loving, understanding, patient, and took the time to listen. Then instead of wife number 2 ( Prov. 27:15) We would have wife number 1 ( Prov. 31:29)
