Pay attention...I bet when you have a carbohydrate rich meal or one too many sugars you get a flare up right? This is the same with Joint pain. Watch the unnecessary sugars in your diet. Focus on eating a diet rich in Omega-3 (walnuts, pumpkin seeds, fish, flax seeds, flax oil etc) to encourage a more insulin sensitive environment. Utilize supplements Like Turmeric, flax seed oil, Fish oil for the EPA/DHA and foods/supplements that contain GLA Gamma Linolenic acid. Borage oil, Evening primrose oil, Hemp oil, Spirulina all contain GLA. GLA will help with these issues as well as Autoimmune issues like Rheumatoid Arthritis.
