Do you think it was a mistake for the country to elect a black president? If the answer is, no, then you really better get out and vote for every Democrat you can next Tuesday. I say this because if the Republicans gain control of the Senate, they are going to spend the next 2 years doing everything they can to make Obamas presidency a failure. They are going to block *every single judicial nominee* he might put forward, probably continue to block every other nominee as well (remember, we have no Surgeon General during the Ebola situation because Rs are already filibustering a nomination over an issue with guns that has nothing to do with the job of the SG). If a SCOTUS member dies or retires, theyre not going to approve anyone Obama appoints short of another Scalia. Hell, with control of the House and Senate, theres a decent chance the Rs will try to impeach Obama over some stupid shit or another. All for the purpose of keeping Obama from doing anything for the next 2 years, so that when he leaves office they can proclaim him to have been a big failure. Sure, they wont openly say, See, this is what happens when you elect the black guy, but that is the message theyll want everyone to absorb.
