Do you want to get your grades up? Try exercising more. A study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine found that teens’ exam results were improved with regular exercise. According to the study, “the more children exercised at age 11, the better they did at school at English, math and science, not only at 11, but also at 13 and at 15 to 16,” with increases seen “for every extra 17 minutes of exercise for boys and every 12 minutes for girls.” The researchers posit that 60 minutes of daily activity could increase student test scores by an entire grade.
