Do your pets inhale their food? This habit can cause serious health risks. Some pets will eat very quickly resulting in immediate vomiting or regurgitation. Others will be at a greater risk of choking. An even more serious consequence (especially in large breed dogs) is GDV. This is the bloating and twisting of the stomach, which is an emergency situation possibly resulting in death. This new bowl is designed to slow down the eating process, thus decreasing the risk of the above conditions. This is my Great Dane, Lou. He is a very fast eater.
