Doctor just called me with some of anyias results. Outside of the neutrophil being low and her white cell count being off, (which is what they will re test in 2 weeks) all of her blood work is back and it all looks good. No thyroid disease and nothing serious or life threatening. THANK YOU JESUS! Praying that her cell count is back to normal when they retest and no further testing needs to be done. As far as her biopsy, she told me the results were in, and when I asked what they were she said he will discuss that further with you when you come in for follow up! I said can you just tell me if she has alopecia areata or not? Thats a long time to wait. And even though its not life threatening its still an auto immune disease and Id like to know what were dealing with. She gave me no answer!! She kept saying he will go over our next steps when you come see him. So thats a little frustrating! BUT if hair loss is the least of our worries Ill take that!! The auto immune diseases that link hand in hand with alopecia areata are the ones we were worried about and shes clear of all those things so TODAY IS A GOOD DAY!! :)
