Doctor visit actually went very well, once I got to see the Doc. I didnt have to wait long. First, he was the doctor who put the stent in. He remembered doing it and explained a lot about what was going on. I asked him how close I was to dying from the heart attack. He said not close at all. That improved my attitude right away. The blockage is in my groin area and is nearly completely if not totally blocked. I asked him how the blood was getting to my legs. He said other arteries have grown around the blocked area. This is the cause of the pain in my legs from walking. He proposes doing a similar procedure as was done for the heart. If hes able to clear the blockage with angioplasty or with a stent, hell do that while hes in there looking around. If not, well have to take with a surgeon about a by-pass. A few more days in the hospital is in my near future. Im gonna cost my insurance company a bundle this year. Tough luck for them, Ive been paying them a bundle for years. Sure am glad I kept this policy this long. This could add up to well over $100K.
