Doctors and paramedics suspended Routine Work: Staged protests during striking hour Srinagar May 30: Spokesperson DAK today in a statement said that Doctors and paramedics suspended routine work today for one hour against unjustified suspension of DAK president Dr Nisar ul Hassan in response to call given by DAK Supported by JDA GMC Srinagar and RDA SKIMS Soura. Doctors and paramedics staged protests during the striking hour against the cowardly act of suspending Dr Nisar. The biggest protest during the striking hour was hold at SMHS hospital wherein large number of patients joined the protest. The protestors were raising slogans against government and said that Dr Nisar was victimized for raising social issues. Patients expressed their anger over the suspension of DAK president and said that they are suffering because of his absence as Dr Nisar is their Messiah. Protestors voiced immediate revocation of suspension of Dr Nisar in the interest of patient care. Protestors further said that government should shun stubbornness and reinstate Dr Nisar in public interest DAK warned government of dire consequences if Dr Nisar is not reinstated immediately. We will be forced to go for indefinite strike and government will be responsible.
