Does any one have interest in adopting a young dog? Theres a chance his owners wont turn up and the last thing I want to do is drop him off at a shelter. Hes very sweet, gentle and calm. Ive worked some with him on basic commands such as sit, stay, down and come. He understands them all, however needs some food incentive to achieve stay, come and down. Im confident however that with a little more practice, hell quickly master them all. Hes met a total of four dogs with me and has been very calm and gentle with them all. Hes very playful, however he is still learning doggie etiquette. Hes huge and still has the awkward, boisterous puppiness about him. I dont think he understands his size just yet and is learning not to jump on people. Hes enthusiastic, but gentle and although he has lots of puppy energy, hes very calm and quiet. He seems to enjoy the company of people and dogs alike. Hes very social and affectionate. Hell need a committed owner that is willing to walk him daily (Im sure hed be a great bikejorning or jogging companion!). Im not sure how he would be with children or small dogs, although my hunch is hed enjoy their company as well. The only concern is that hes still not fully aware of his size and unintentionally could knock someone over with ease. Please pass the word along if you know of anyone looking for a very sweet and handsome companion! PS hell need to be fixed and possible vaccinated.
