So I hop off train&start walking to my car@the school when Im approached by a perhaps 80 odd year old Greek man asking if I knew where Charles st was-I looked in google maps for him&advised him it was on the other side of where we are in StAlbans&asked how he got here-he said its the first time in 50yrs he has forgotten how to get home-I asked him if he would like a taxi but he said no he will walk-I picked up my kids from mums&felt bad for leaving this man so I told the kids what happened&drove to see if he was still walking-I spotted him&he was asking someone else for directions-I parked the car&went &offered him a lift home as it was raining&really too far to walk for him....he graciously accepted so on goes the gps...all the way he questioned my directions in driving lol so I explained what the gps does&how it takes me the quickest way-he told me his wife&daughter have passed away&he lives on his own....so basically he had travelled from Keilor plains to Ginifer & became disorientated-when we arrived &his house-he was so very thankful &offered $10-I declined obviously but he was quite adamant &told me to give to the kids....he was so happy to see his house poor thing....I teach my kids stranger danger&all that -but I guess this falls into a different category...
