Does anyone else find it, not only ironic, but redundant that in a Country founded by Christians whom set forth a government of the people, by the poeple, and for the people, and a constitution declaring all men are created equal and should be free from tyranny and persecution, that Christians today are being persecuted and told to forget this nations history because it is offensive to non-believers. The very reason you are here today is because of history, so it would be foolish to say it never happened. If you find offense in this Nations history then please, by all means, feel free to excuse yourself from her bosom and find another land to call your home. Christov Columbo the Spaniard, also called Christopher Columbus, the same who discovered America, was himself a Christian. The puritans who landed at plymouth rock were Christians fleeing Englands persecution to come to a land where they were free from tyranny and could worship God as they pleased, not as they were told. George Washington was a Christian. He was the general who fought the tyrrany of the Brittish who became our fist president. Abraham Lincoln was also a Christian; he freed the slaves and reunited the country by ending the civil war before he was assasinated. Now you want me to say our history never happened because it was at the beginning a christian, nay I say, a God proclaimed endevour to set forth a new nation for Gods people, because it is offensive to you? Wether it is or is not offensive to you, the fact remains that it is our history, our heritage, and our right to serv and worship the same God whom birthed our great nation and if you find offense with a peaceful people of a Godly nation, then I say again, please depart this land for another, and if ye be so bold, kindly stand in those lands and proclaim that you are offended by their gods and their history. I dont expect wed be hearing from any of you offended again. Or, you may remain in our land and respect our rights as we observe yours and we can live in perfect harmony. The choice really is yours. Christians made their choice from the beginning.
