Does anyone know about Windows 7? My friend Aušra Kriščiūnienė is having a spot of bother with it. As I dont use Windows myself am a bit stuck. OpenSuSE and Amigas for me, so much easier as they never go wrong :) The Problem: No browser or other software can access the internet. What I have tried: nslookup, ping, tracert all work as expected. Firewall disabled to rule it out. Putty wont start as its unable to initialise WinSock , thought i would see if I could telnet which would show port 80 is all good, but cant. All browsers (Chrome, FF, Opera) all try to load from Freecause and nothing else. Googling this comes up with things I dont understand :( Currently running sfc to see if it might have anything vaguely useful. I would love to get on my high horse and just put something on it that just works but its not my computer. Any ideas?
