Does anyone know of a hauling service that I can hire to dispose of the contents of my Hoopers Island garage ASAP? Hopefully by the end of this week? There are lots of large cumbersome items that (I think) need to go directly to the dump including 3 metal filing cabinets, a really old washer and dryer Geoff purchased for parts, metal shelving, a Victorian couch that Geoff was going to recover, damaged wooden tables, several 1950 s green metal chairs, the wooden shelves we used at his art and craft shows (whose shelves are slightly warped from being left outside but I have tons of spare shelves to replace the warped ones with), pictures, toys, and a couple Ikea cabinets in excellent shape. I do not want to sell this stuff individually...and some is worthy of selling....I just need to pay someone to take the entire contents of the garage and dispose of it in whatever way they see fit. I used to ALWAYS see free hauling ads and/or ads saying reasonable rates for garage clean-outs but now that I need this type of service I cant find anyone. Ive called TNT movers but havent heard back. And I need to act pretty quickly. I desperately desperately want to be out of the home where I lost my husband....it destroys me every time I go back... My sweet sister Laurie Dean, her boyfriend Eric, and my niece Phoebe Cannon spent all day Saturday helping me move for ten hours Saturday and then my dear friends Jennifer Wood McCrea and James McCrea (and their son Logan) drove all the way from Easton to Hoopers Island to help my sister, Eric, Phoebe, and me again ALL day Sunday. I love love love love you all soooo much!! Thanks for helping me get out of the house so quickly. I hope I can repay you someday!!! Today I will be at the house separating out what I need from the garage and packing up the few remaining things in the kitchen....so if anyone knows a moving company or garage cleaning company I will be available all.day today for them to come take a look and give me an estimate...... Thank you for any info you can provide! Muuuaahhhh!!!
