Does anyone on here know any kids that have gone to the diabetic camp, or really any week long sleep away camp? Maybe they could say something positive so that my son doesnt go into melt down mode when I mention this wonderful camp that we think he should go to. Its a week of swimming, zip lining, basketball, paint ball, fishing and hiking. It is also a week of spending time with kids who have to deal with diabetes on a daily basis like he does. I know hell have fun once he gets there. His doctor is medical director of the program. Please give me any camp input.
