Does anyone remember Annie. This obese 12yo Cavi came in to Puppy Tales Rescue in August last year after her mum passed away. As you can see by her photos she has lost an incredible a out of weight thanks to her wonderful foster mum Steph. Both our vet and I were very concerned about Annies quality of life with her being almost double the weight her breed should be. We were concerned about her heart as all the extra weight was putting strain on it. Well after 4 1/2 months of building up her waking from a couple of meters to two walks a day, this girl is melting those kilos away. Annie is still not available for adoption. She still has some weight to loose and get her health intact before we look at finding her a home. I just wanted to show you how much work some of my foster carers do behind the scenes. They really are the back bone of our rescue, helping me save lives of those that didnt have much in front of them. So from me to all of my amazing foster carers, Thank you for everything. And to Steph, you have made a huge difference to Annies life, she has gained years thanks to you. Kerrie xx
