Does anyone remember this poem from Balivanich Primary School in the 1970s. Primary one with Mrs Campbell/Garbutt IT IS HALLOWEEN TONIGT Shiny moon and stars so bright, See the witches in the sky, On their broomsticks there they fly. Funny faces, funny shoes, Nuts to eat and apples too Halloween is magic time, Strange things happen. If you try, maybe you can even fly With the witches for a while. All eight members of my family used to recite it at every house we guised at every year. I think they kinda knew who we were under our homemade sheep wool masks and oversized pyjamas stuffed with cushions. ha!
