Does the old school refrain from supporting the likes of Ted Cruz, Ken Cuchinelli, Mike Lee, Allen West, Sarah Palin because they dont agree with them or because they fear their own poll numbers if they do? I contend the polls are skewed to the left because of bias media, progressive indoctrination in schools (including University level), entitlement perks, corporate lobby efforts, special interest lobby efforts, environmental scare tactics....oh I could go on.... THAT...the polls are skewed so far to the left THAT the stance a politician has to follow in order to be popular is nowhere near what a traditional Republican platform used to be. Hence, the Buckley Rule is no longer applicable, because only the very watered down Republicans are electable. Us tea party types are trying to bring the party back to its core values and ideology. If the GOP machine doesnt see nor want to right itself then so be it, we will be the spoilers. I can live with that! I will not participate in moving toward Socialism either by the quick demise of a progressive revolution or by a thousand knife stabs by a RINO mentality. I will stick to my values I wont compromise what I know to be correct. Come and Take!
