Does the one barking and howling - affect the splendour of the full moon. Without comparison, how does any depicting affect the splendour of the one who Allah created as the best of creation. No matter what happens- nothing will affect the praise and rank of the Beloved. As Allah has raised the praise of His beloved: Allah Almighty says about the Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the Holy Quran: And we raised high for you, your mention [Holy Quran- 94:4] Muslims will most definitely be deeply hurt and angered by these actions in the so called name of freedom. A society that prides itself on being educated and civilised, chooses not to accept that freedom of speech cannot be without boundaries. But we remind ourselves of his forbearance, forgiveness, mercy and compassion. We remind ourselves of how our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would react and what he would say, as He said on the day of Uhud when they hurt him. Oh Allah guide them, for they know not! As Muslims, we also have a responsibility to educate ourselves and others regarding our Beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and even more so now that when the opportunity or situation arises, we are able to talk and give an accurate view of his life and teachings to the non-Muslims. Isnt it interesting that people all over the world are talking about the Prophet...even if there are some non-Muslims due to their negativity and prejudices are doing certain things, those with sound minds are the majority and will know there is injustice being done here, and will read more about him now then they may have ever done. And the Muslims are also busy too, praising their beloved and defending the honour of their beloved. O Allah we have failed to convey the true person of your Beloved to the people, we only rely on you, give us the ability to emulate his example. O Allah bring out from this situation a people who go further into reading about your beloved and end up accepting him as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). Ameen.
