Dohrman J. Sinclair (1860-1915) He does not come from wealth. His father died before he was 10. He left school at the age of 14 to take a job as a janitor so he could support his Mother. Never going to college he nevertheless studied the law and was admitted to the bar. All that he ever did was without government aid. He represents everything about the Steubenville work ethic and American Exceptionalism that makes me proud of Our Home Town. The attached link leads to a short biography written after his death in 1915 which speaks volumes about this man and his character. books.google/books?id=YTcOAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA261-IA8&lpg=PA261-IA8&dq=dohrman+sinclair&source=bl&ots=W8B7AToiEo&sig=7e-Xamdr_SZZfylpG4t5oa1alH4&hl=en&sa=X&ei=8dxxU_jqII2zsASv0YE4&ved=0CDEQ6AEwDw
