Dolphins win 22-20 in overtime on a game winning safety by Wake Miami, Florida~~Miami Dolphins defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 22-20 in overtime on a game-winning safety by defensive end Cameron Wake. On third and 10, Andy Dalton was sack in the end zone by Wake for a game-winning safety and ending a four game losing streak for the Dolphins. In the beginning of the game Dolphins look like they would get an easy win with 17-3, but it all changed with the performance of running back Giovanni Bernard. Dolphins had a 17-3 lead in the third quarter after cornerback Brent Grimes intercepted Andy Dalton and returned it 94 yards for a touchdown. On the next drive for the Bengals, Giovanni Bernard cut the Dolphins 17-10 on a 3 yard-run and he wasn’t done. Apparently, it looks like the Dolphins defense had stop Giovanni Bernard for a lost, but somehow eluded the defenders for a 35-yard touchdown run. It was panic mode for Dolphins fans at Sun Life Stadium, as they witness the Dolphins squandered another lead. Bengals would take the lead 20-17 on a 54-yard field goal with 1:24 in the fourth quarter. Ryan Tannehill was really impressive on the game tying drive completed 5 of his seven passes. Kicker Caleb Sturgis connected on 45-yard field goal to tie the game at 20 and the game needed to be decided in overtime. The Dolphins would win the coin toss, but weren’t able to get offensively going and had to punt the ball. Bengals had an opportunity to win the game or at-least get into field goal range, but weren’t able to move the ball beyond Miami’s 39-yardline. On the next Bengals drive, the offense had the ball at the eight-yard line on a 3rd and 10 situation and that’s when Wake sack Dalton to end the game with a safety. Wake, joined two other players in league history to end the game on a safety. Tannehill, finished the game 20/28 for 208 yards no touchdowns or interceptions. On the other hand Dalton finished the game 32/53 for 338 yards, but threw three interceptions. Lamar Miller had 16 carries for 105 yards and Daniel Thomas 12 carries for 38 yards. Mike Wallace had a good game for the Dolphins with 6 receptions for 82 yards and Bengals wide receiver A.J Green finished with 11 receptions for 128 yards. Bernard, had 9 carries for 79 yards and 2 td’s. The Bengals had a totaled of 465 yards and Dolphins 345. Dolphins finished the game with only one turnover and Bengals had 4 turnovers. Grimes, Patterson, and Ellerbe each had one interception and Wake finished the game with 3 sacks. • Dolphins will play the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football on November 11th • Dolphins right tackle Jonathan Martin did not play due to a non-football Illness
