Dominant mainstream conservative (neoliberal) economics preaches - TopicsExpress

Dominant mainstream conservative (neoliberal) economics preaches privatization of public services at all costs, the closure of the commons, both ecological and democratic, along with the commodification of nature and everything. Neoliberalism promotes a vision of progress defined solely by the accumulation of private property. The masses buy into this Ponzi scheme confusing snakes for ladders, falling deeper into darkness. Oxfam reports the 1% will soon control more than the 99% combined. How is this real? This crisis of modernity rocks all dimensions, tending toward war, sickness, inequality, injustice, debt and death. It forcefully occupies all economies, ecologies and societies on the blue dot. We need a system change. Consider for-public, co-operative banking. Imagine we, the people of Canada, regained control over our national Bank of Canada and used it to create a World Food Fund, for example. We could create billions of dollars out of thin air — just like private banks — for no or low interest to support every community in the nation toward achieving food sovereignty through local, regenerative agro-ecological food systems. We will inspire every nation toward this noble objective, and achieve it. The U.S. government has private banks create the trillions of dollars necessary to run its bloodbaths abroad through a “we promise our kids will pay in the future” kind of deal. A “we promise our kids will eat in the future” kind of deal is within our reach, if we only do what Jesus did — denounce the moneylenders. When our so-called Christian nations stop worshipping and enforcing usury on the masses of poor working families and bring the light of god to governance, turning water into wine will never be easier. Walk on water? Forget oil; watch us run on water, sun!
