Dominic König: *I throw open the door to the florist, causing the bell to ring loudly.* I dont want to hear anymore of your excuses. *I see a beautiful woman standing behind the counter working on a large bouquet. I walk up to her and snap into my phone.* Youre the one who forgot the centerpiece, you worthless fool. *Hanging up my my assistant, I turn to Pema according to her name tag. Her flawless tanned skin stands out against the crisp, white shirt she was wearing. I could almost be interested in what she had below that counter if I wasnt already in a foul mood.* Are you the owner here? *I dont care to hide the impatience in my voice, only needing to get out of here.* Pema Dohna: ~Deeply concentrating on the project in front of me, I hear the bell of the door ring loudly from the front of the shop. Not taking my eyes off the flowers, I hear a man ranting to someone, but not able to see who, I shrug it off and continue with the bouquet. Giving gentle tugs here and there to the green leaves of the roses and small pieces of babies breath, the man steps up to the counter and ends his call with a sharp snap of the phone and in a rude tone questions if I am the owner. Looking up from my finished arrangement with an aggravated smirk upon my lips,~ Yes I am the OWNER here and would ask that you keep your voice down. I am trying to work and there are a few customers here that are trying to shop. ~Taking a calming breath and looking directly into his eyes.~ So, now that you have my attention... How my I help you today? Dominic König: *I press my elbows on the counter top, leaning forward.* Im sure Im not the first, nor the last person to raise their voice in here. *I smile to the beauty across from me, her tone causing my inner jackal to perk its ears up.* Your shop and my incompetent assistant have cause me to lose a centerpiece to a very important event tonight. *She bites her bottom lip, obviously trying not to snap back at me. I pull out my black American Express and ID, then slide it to her.* Itll be under König. Pema Dohna: ~Giving him a once over as I slide the card and ID along the counter top. Picking it up,* Give me a minute to look up the order. What was your assistants name so that I can make sure it was not entered under their name by mistake? *Shaking his head as I notice the flush wash over his face. Anger boiling just underneath.~ Forget it, I will see what I can find. ~Tapping a few keys on the computer.....~ Nope, your card has never been used here, nor has your name been entered into my system. ~His lips pressed into a hard line as if he was ready to give me a few choose words, I quickly interrupt.~ If you would like.... I can work on a centerpiece. Just tell me what you need and when you need it. I might be able to have it ready by day after tomorrow. Would that be enough time? Dominic König: *I scrub a hand over my face, trying not to yell.* I believe Ive already said I need it tonight. *She taps her fingertips on the keyboard, waiting for me to give her an option. Which I have to admit, I really like. I pull out my BlackBerry and find the mock centerpiece Id come up with.* This is what I want. *I slide my phone over to her and she takes a close look, nodding. ~I can do that.~ I snatch my phone back and grab one of her business cards. I send the picture to the email on the card.* Ill pay double to have it done by eight. Triple if you can make it by five. *Her eyes widen and I give her a cocky smirk. I take back my card and ID and trade them for my business card.* Heres where it should be delivered. *She takes the card, remaining in silent surprise. With one last look at the florist beauty, I leave her small business, expecting to see her that evening with what I needed.*
