Don C Okafor have this to say about the suspended Central Bank Governor. I see the position as blowing hot and cold at the same time. I am convinced that the ousted CBN governor of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, means well. His intent is without a doubt aimed at serving his country judiciously. He is indeed a great asset to our developing nation, Nigeria. A man of distinquished intergrity, it is to the benefit of our country to have people like Sanusi in positions of signicance, for many years to come. His wealth of knowledge and experience would help improve the meaningful existence and overall wellbeing of the average Nigerian. But I must also submit that the position of the CBN governor is is beyond his competency. No doubt he means wel, but the importance of that office and the superior Academic training, knowledge and overall skill set required to mount that saddle of responsiblility is ONLY reserved for the intellectual genius. I believe Sanusi has served us well during his time as the CBN governor. Arguably ranked in the top three positions in a country, Nigeria should seek to improve on the caliber and character of future CBN governors.
