L.A.s fundraising goal, so we can get our medical fosters the care they need (like Teddy in the below video - he suffered traumatic nerve damage to his right front leg and needs to have it amputated) and continue to rescue more pups throughout the year. Please help share our rescues and promote spay & neuter, and if you can please donate to our race page! At #Wudla we take on harder to place dogs - the bully breeds, the chihuahuas, the mama dogs who are left behind once their puppies are all rescued, the shutdown dogs, the medical dogs, and the seniors. Ive been told by other rescue groups to not take these dogs, because in the amount of time it takes to place one dog needing some major vet care and TLC, we could place 3-5 times as many happy-go-lucky little fluff balls and save money. However, if we dont take these undesirables who will? They are absolutely just as deserving of being rescued as any other dog in the shelter and I think its the rescues responsibility to give them that opportunity. Its not these dogs fault that they are considered handicapped and unwanted. I think they are fantastic and beautiful and its my goal to show and share their awesomeness to those around me, and I promise to continue doing this as long as I have the support and funds to do so.
