Donation for a Mosque in Syston Leicester "Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will reward that person with a place in Paradise." (Hadith Al-Bukhari) Assalamu Alaykum! There are 4-villages (Syston, Tharmoston, Quinborough, Barkby) in Charnwood county Leicestershire and there is no mosque, madrasa or community centre there. The next closest mosque from Syston is 30-minutes drive away. We need mosque in Syston for prayers especially in Ramadan and otherwise. We will start with renting a small place for prayer and Iftar for local Muslim community. We need community help and support. In Ramadan some Muslim community members, my family and I thought it was a good idea since everyone is keen on having a local mosque (multicultural centre, community cente, madrasa). The aim of Mosque is to offer the community improved services including, larger prayer hall, funeral and marriage services, and increased madrasah capacity. You can be a part of this by making it possible and by donating today. We need to raise funds to make it successful. We urgently require your help and this is fantastic opportunity to be part of a project which will Insha-Allah benefit the community for years to come. In Ramadan we will start with renting a place that can be used for prayers, Iftars and Tarawihs. Later we aim to start building our own Mosque and community centre Insh-Allah. In helping us with this project you will not only allow us to get closer to making this mosque a reality but more importantly you will actually be a part of building it yourself. Instead of making a one off donation, this year we all have the opportunity to help actually BUILD the Mosque, literally brick by brick! In order to reach this goal, so many of us across the country and the world for that matter are banding together to raise funds for this necessary and important cause. ‘this building will be truly inclusive, sustainable, safe, secure and respectful of the neighborhood.
