Donations of Rugby Equipment Welcome! As our youth rugby teams prepare for this years Sri Lanka Tour, I am reminded of the 2012 and 2013 tours and humbled by the dedication and spirit exhibited by teams of far simpler means. While some Sri Lankan Teams appeared affluent, others had no boots. In years past, some of our players have exchanged or simply gifted their jerseys to Sri Lankan players at the end of the tournaments. If you had seen the joy on the faces of the Sri Lankan children that got to take Al Ain Amblers Jerseys home, you would understand why I am asking for donations. Please consider sharing your used or unwanted kits, boots, scrum hats etc. and I will personally ensure that they make it into the hands of Sri Lankan rugby players. Please drop your donations off at Rugby Club Reception BEFORE 12 noon on Wednesday, April 2nd. I will be placing a collection box in reception this morning.
