Dont ask me how it started but just know i got a chance to talk to 8 year old Charly about marriage. Very interesting views she had that i have to share. (Please note that she is here for the summer holiday having spent most of her life in the US) Alex: How do you decide who to marry? Charly: It is very important to find someone who likes the same things like you. Like if you like sports, she must also like that you like sports and always bring you beer when you are watching sports. Alex:So what is the right age to get married? Charly: There is no right age to get married. You have to be a fool to get married. Alex: How can a stranger tell if two people are married? Charly: You just have to guess. Usually its the two people you see yelling at the same child. Alex:What do most people do on a date? Charly: They tell each other lies that get the other person interested enough for a second date. Alex: What would you do on a first date if things werent going according to plan? Charly: Id run home and play dead. And in the morning, i would call all the newspapers and make sure they all wrote about me in their dead people columns. Alex: When is it okay to kiss someone? Charly: The rule goes like this; if you kiss someone, you should marry them and have kids with them. Its the right thing to do. Alex:Is it better to be single or married? Charly: it depends. For girls, it is better to be single. For guys they need to get married because they need someone to clean up after them. Alex: How would the world be different if people didnt get married? Charly: Uuumm, i think there would be a lot of kids to explain! This is the cleverest 8 year old Ive met! What topic would you like me to discuss with her next?
