Dont call me xenophobic but if you must, be my Guest :) I have had similar encounter when I was experiencing driving taxi for almost 6 months. To have a first hand feel whether or not taxi driver can earn $7k etc. Within the 6 months, I have encountered problematic customer from PRCs who find all the excuses just not to pay you the fare. Worst still they will call taxi company to claim damages. Can you beat that. On the other end Taxi Drivers and all not Angels too. There the ugly ones like almost in every country. Caucasians are another group thankfully not all but a few rotten apples. Singaporeans by and large are very calculative and cunning. Good at making bookings while at the same time waiting for an available taxi. You are lucky if the cancelled your bookings most of them dont. Indian National, very demanding, uses their own gps system to track your route taken and expects you to treat them like king or queens...helloooo this is Singapore Ok! Our meters are not manipulated or all taxi drivers are out there to cheat you like those from your Country.
