Dont ever share your status with several people. it doesnt just share it with them all, it sends them a group thread email. Some cant figure out how to leave the conversation and get angry at you and cause all kinds of drama... others think it si funny to egg on that situation... irritating many... and its totally counterproductive in the end. Facebook lacks a button to edit your choice if you start any group thread either by starting a group thread or by sharing something with many at once, therefore also starting a group thread. Anyone can however elect to remove themselves from group threads by going to the options gear icon at the top of the message or the action tab at the top right if you are in your inbox. then chose leave conversation. Its simple, it doesnt have to end ugly, you can opt out.
