The best thing to do is to send us a faecal sample by post or just drop the sample into the clinic and we can do a worm egg count for only £3.90!!! This allows us to look for eggs for large strongyles and redworms and then we can advice you whether you need to worm for round worms and tapeworms or just tapeworms! Using this worming method not only saves you money but also helps to stop un-necessary worming which will increase resistance to the wormers we currently have available in our horse population.
