Last year we examined various theological aspects of the gospel as we studied propitiation, reconciliation, regeneration, justification and more. This year our focus is one of the great fruits of the gospel--the local church. The New Testament knows nothing of a gospel which does not produce local churches. What does a Biblical local church look like? How does a believer relate to one? What are the purposes of the local church? Our speakers this year will preach the Word of God on this important and yet much neglected subject. Pastor Randall Easter: Randall has been pastor of First Baptist Church of Briar in Azle, TX for 14 years. He is a powerful conference speaker who is passionate for evangelism and the local church. He is married to Bev and they have four children and one grandchild. Pastor Jesse Barrington: Jesse is pastor of Grace Life Church of Plano, TX. This church is a church plant of Grace Life Church of the Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). Jesse has been pastoring there for about five years. Pastor Jon Speed: Jon is pastor of Christ is King Baptist Church in Syracuse, NY. The church is a church plant from FBC Briar and began in 2011. Jon is married to Kim and they have four children.
