Dont forget, today is Uniform Fitting Day! The hours are from 9 am to 3 pm. Please plan to arrive by 2:30 pm with your students personal garments as follows: Black undergarments (a black T-shirt or compression garment, black shorts) Black gloves Black socks Black marching shoes Your student will need a tote or small sports bag to keep their shoes in (in their garment bag) over the course of the season. Your student will pass through stations to measure & fit each uniform piece, which will then be placed into a garment bag. Your student must wear the above items, including marching shoes and gloves, to be fitted correctly. If you are able to help as a volunteer, we welcome you any time throughout the 9-3 time frame. We need helpers to pin, tack & iron the bibs, fit jackets, assign glengarries, & set up a personal garment bag for each student. Gloves & glengarry will always remain in their garment bag. Just show up, & if you can, bring black thread & needles or an iron/ironing board. No experience necessary -- many hands make light work. We have many students to fit! We will be selling gloves at the fitting for $4 & $5 and will also take orders for Helix Instrumental Music compression wear. In addition to the compression items offered at Paperwork Day, we will also be offering a mens basketball-style short. Bagpipe Band will be selling water bottles from 9 am to 3 pm.
