Dont get blown away with my forecast for the weekend, but the winds of change are certainly coming...especially to Northern and Central Utah. Temperatures will reach 79 in SLC in Saturday, breaking the record high for the day of 78. Gusty winds start Friday, but increase to uncomfortable levels on Saturday in the North and west of I-15. Sunday, a cold front will bring showers late in the day to Northern areas. By late Sunday night and Monday, it is cold enough for enhanced Great Salt Lake showers of rain and probably a short period of snow in Davis and Salt Lake Counties. Gusty shifting winds will accompany the front on Sunday statewide. Then, much cooler fall weather with mixed clouds and sunshine in the North, and more sunshine, but cooler weather in the South.
