Dont know what coverage hes talking about at $80 a month. Last I - TopicsExpress

Dont know what coverage hes talking about at $80 a month. Last I checked Obama Care would cost me nearly $400 per month, and that was after I worked only 1/2 year and the rest calculated at the rate of unemployment. There are those who work contract jobs and havent hit the minimum qualifications for unemployment. In the meantime, those who are contractors and often have down time in between once were covered but their affordable policies were cancelled because they did not meet Obama Care standards. (ie. No paternity, that many dont even need but are forced to pay for under this Act.) So this Act left many once covered naked, with a hefty penalty to be paid at the end of the year to boot. More and more employers are contracting out to avoid providing benefits, so not sure where he is getting his stats. But I hope before they continue with this plan they look at how it has played out in practical terms. If its not thrown out, perhaps it can be tweeked for the contractor who has months of no income and whose housing costs (ie in NY for example) are above a certain percentage of the annual income. (Jesus he looks tired and thin and aged. Whats his health care?)
