Dont miss the message: Olu Isaac Memaiyetan BE LIBERATED... l know from personal experience how damaging it can be to live with bitterness and unforgiveness. I like to say its like taking poison and hoping your enemy like die. And it really is that harmful for us to live that way. - JOYCE MEYER Newspaper stands are some if the most interesting places to be at. There are people wholl never buy newspapers but will read all the headlines of the journals on display and go out there to broadcast it. Some are just analysts-they know everything and they also have the time to explain it. They can tell you what President Jonathan dicusses with his wife in their bedroom. Some are just debaters who will always be on the other side of everyone elses opinion. Then there is the audience who just choose to enjoy the big, big grammar and the stories-its just fun-it wouldnt matter if they are lies. Whichever way, they keep the vendor company and he cant be bored. But there is something common among vendors friends. They mostly believe that there some people somewhere who steal all their money(even though some them have never paid tax), make them jobless and make them sick and die because they have refused to provide a sound healthcare system. The same thing goes for a lot of us who think we arent successful because our parents didnt do enough, or because our privileged relatives or friends have refused to be of help. There are always a thousand and one reasons why we should be bitter and hateful but in the end, who dies it kill? Manya Angelou did say,Bitternessis like cancer. It eats upon the host. We will achieve greater things if we dont keep making excuses for our shortcomings. I only need to look at the achievers like Bill Gate, Thomas Edison, Aliko Dangote, Christiano Ronaldo, to know that taking responsibility for our shortcomings as challenge to work and pray harder and not looking for people to blame, is the way forward. If we continue to complain, we lose motivation and hope for success. While we complain, people who are even a lot less priviledged focused on working hard and are succeeding. Busy people dont have time to blab... I DO WISH NIGERIANS A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY. GOD BLESS NIGERIA...
