Dont put off what you can do today for tomorrow. We sometimes think we have all the time in the world, and tend to not see the warning signs that out time is getting short. There was once a very beautiful lady, and everyone in the town knew her. One day she got a knock on her door, and when she opened it she asked may I help you? The gentleman standing there replied yes you may he said I have come for you, she said come for me what do you mean. He asked you dont know who I am do you? She said no Im sorry I dont he then replied Im death. She said well Mr. Death Im sorry but there must be a mistake no one warned me that you were coming and I am not ready to go. Death then said I have never made a mistake but just for you I will go back and check before I take you. The lady said ok but before you come back can you warn me so I will be ready, Death replied sure no problem. Some years past and there came a knock at the ladys door when she opened it she said oh Mr Death I see you came back well come right in and have a seat. Once that sat down death said well I come for you this time and its not a mistake the lady replied saying you said Im not ready and you told me you would warn me before you came. Death replied, I did warn you he said remember the last time I was here, your hair was long and as black as a ravens feather, look now he said your hair is short and grey, that was me he said, then e said remember the last time I saw you, your teeth was pretty and white as a flock of sheep, now most of your teeth have fallen out and you have dentures to replace them that was me. Then he said remember the last time when I knocked you strutted to the door youthful and full of energy like a peacock, but now you have a walker to help you move about, that also he said was me warning you that I am on my way for you. So again I say life is short, make the best of it, but most of all pay attention to the warnings, and try to live a life for Christ so that when the knock comes on your door youre ready.
