Dont walk past a situation if you are worried that something bad will happen otherwise - intervene if its relatively safe to do so, even if you just stay nearby and pay attention to what is happening in case things really kick off. Bystander intervention is one of the most powerful ways we can interrupt the cycle of abuse, and that doesnt just mean intervening when someones being physically harmed - it means checking that people are okay, letting them know they have your support and CHALLENGING shit where you see it, EVEN if it just seems like a harmless joke involving a waxwork model.
