Don’t let discouragement make you sluggish. It’s that sluggish attitude that really makes us feel like giving up. First we lose the desire to press on then we lose the desire to go on. You really don’t have to give into discouragement. David encouraged himself in the Lord his God (1 Samuel 30:6, KJV). So can you! Encourage yourself in the Lord! Don’t be discouraged: God’s promises are reliable.
