Doodlebug was pretty tired today. She woke up at 1am and they gave her melatoin. usually she sleeps in but woke herself up at 8a. she took a great nap n that really helped! she ate just amazing for supper and drank 2 oz! did u know they told me on friday she ate a whole grilled cheese sandwhich omg!!! tomorrow im meeting with the dietician so please say a prayer because im going to push to get them to stop her tube feeding! shes eating three meals a day. her weight is stable. and if something were to happen like her losing weight she can always go back on tube feeding but shes eating more than enough! she was up in her jumper for an hour tonight and was mad because she had to get out! with her drain in her head she can only be up for so long then has to get back in bed. the nurses have been wonderful since the last not feeding her incident. the only thing i asked is they keep trying to take her vital signs when shes eating which is not neccessary n upsets her thus disrupting her meal. she also had music therapy today and loves it soo much. wed at 10a is her surgery date. hoping to bring her home thursd or fri!! yahhh! i had a wonderful night with gunner! we played soccer n he has a great kicking talent!! we went to the school playground and he went down all the slides by himself! i am so proud of him!!! And he went past a school bus that was running and did not get scared! this is a big step because after the accident he has been so scared of noises :( well he even wanted to get on the bus but i told him he had a little ways to go yet before he would be riding in one lol!! the hospital was selling discounted tickets to mickey mouse musical event on sunday so Gunner and I are going on a date!! i think hes going to love it!!!
