Door County people, Southern Door voters have two big referendums on the ballot next week. Failure to pass both will transform (and not in a good way) their school and their fire department. I do not live in Southern Door but as a resident of the county, I hate seeing any school district facing draconian consequences. And as a resident who travels our highway through Southern Door on my way south in good and bad weather, I want the fire and ambulance response time to accidents to be as short as possible.
