Dora Irma Borrego Ventura 1943-2014 Dora Irma Borrego Ventura, born on August 8, 1943, went with the Lord on October 22, 2014 at the age of 71 in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Mexico, Dora is survived by her caring husband Silverio Ventura, her son Jose Antonio Ventura, Ulysses Ventura, grandsons Angel Uriel Ventura, Adonis Ventura, granddaughters Sierra Teresa Ventura and Isabel Ventura, and grandson Xavier Ventura. Dora will be remembered for her warmhearted, bright demeanor and her delightful personality. Through her life, Dora remained intact to her great belief that family is above all things. She was always there to love and care for everyone in her family, as well as all those she was close to. Until her final days, Dora remained the loving, caring, kind-hearted woman she was known to be. Dora’s viewing took place on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Her service was held on the same day at Chapel La Fe at 6 p.m. Another viewing took place on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by her final service at 2 p.m. at Chapel La Fe. She was laid to rest at the Santo Cristo Cemetery in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Arrangements were made under the care and direction of Memorial Funeral Chapels and Funerales Socorro. At this time, we would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for the Borrego and Ventura families, as well as for everyone close to Dora and her loved ones. Dora Irma Borrego Ventura will be dearly missed by our community.
