Double standards when different ethnicites are involved often - TopicsExpress

Double standards when different ethnicites are involved often points to prejudice. It is a double standard which indicates prejudice that when the Palestinian Mandate was split into the Palestinian Arab state of Jordan and the Jewish state of Israel that it was okay that Jordan expelled all of its Jewish residents who were living there on lands that they legally owned, but Israel must have an Arab population. It is a double standard which indicates prejudice that there are calls for Israel to accept all of the Palestinian Arab refugees back while also assimilating Jewish refugees expelled from Muslim lands; yet, there are no calls for the Arab nations to assimilate the Palestinian Arab refugees who reside in refugee camps. It is a double standard which indicates prejudice that there are calls for all Jews who reside in communities within the "West Bank" of Judea and Samaria to be removed, but Israel faces calls to allow Palestinian Arab refugees to return while also having its own Arab citizens.
