Dr. Andreadis is Director of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station. His enthusiasm for his own research and for the CAES is infectious. Many UConn Master Gardeners engage in collaborative educational and research projects with Ag. Station scientists. He is teaching CLIMATE CHANGE, Mosquitos and Public Health next Wednesday October 30, 2013 6:00 – 8:00 PM @ the New Haven County Extension Center FEE: $50.00 Non-Master Gardener $40.00 Master Gardener Dr. Andreadis will present current research on mosquito-borne diseases such as West Nile Virus and how our changing climate influences their spread and severity.. He will also describe the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station’s ongoing trapping and testing of mosquitos and the potential for biological control of these insects.
