Dr.Charles Olara, the Medical Superintendent Fort Portal Referral hospital has won himself an award of recognition from the Tooro Rotary club for his outstanding service in the Rwenzori region. Msgr Isaiah Mayombo of Fort Portal diocese and Rota actor said Tooro Rotary gave an award to Dr.Olara for his outstanding service to the community in Rwenzori which falls in the spirit of Rotary Club. This was on Wednesday night at Tooro Club Boma in Fort Portal. He explained that Rotary observed that Dr.Olara had made a difference in the lives of the people. Msgr Isaiah noted that Dr.Olara had transformed Fort Portal referral hospital in terms of infrastructure, administration, sanitation among others through his of commitment and hard work. He said there was a big difference in health service delivery. Soul Kusemererwa the president Rotary Club commended Dr.Olara for having brought total change at the hospital noting that there has been general improvement in sanitation unlike in the past years when the patients shunned the facility over poor sanitation, absenteeism and rudeness of the staff. #luckiepatrick
